​At HLMS we value community-building, activated spaces, partnerships, and connections! We work hard to create opportunities for business owners, neighbors, creatives, and visitors to interact, strengthen bonds, and grow together!

Our signature events include First Fridays along the commercial corridor, the Main Street Market (Thursdays evenings June – October) and the Harford Road Spooktacular!

Many of these events take place at The Lot, our beautiful, renovated community space located at 4500 Harford Road. The indoor space at The Lot allows us to have programming such as yoga classes, tango lessons, workshops!

Main Street Market is held at our community hub, THE LOT @ 4500 Harford Rd EVERY Thursday June 4-October 15th.

Third Thursdays = Festival Markets, which are our larger, themed market nights with expanded vendors, special programing, drinks, food and pop ups along Harford Rd promoting all our wonderful small businesses. During Festival Markets, Moving History will host a high energy 45 minute kids program-giving parents a chance to shop, grab a drink, hang with neighbors and enjoy the market while kids are immersed in supervised activities nearby (waiver required).

All other Thursdays = Mini Markets, which are smaller weekly markets featuring a curated mix of longtime favorites, local vendors, weekly essentials, food and drink.
